Lord Hanuman is the chief and eternal devotee of Sri Rama and he stood by Lord Rama in his endeavor to retrieve Goddess Sita from Ravana.
After offering a coconut and tieing it at the temple, one has to recite Karya Siddhi Hanuman Mantra 108 times per day and should make 41 pradhakshinas twice a week. It should be continued for 16 days. The devotee should be absolutely pure in diet, without alcohol. On the 16th day, the tied coconut should be removed, offered to lord and then be used to cook sweets, which has to be distributed to others. This works out perfectly for the devotees that their wishes get fulfilled either before or after 16th day and that is the reason why the temple experiences crowds of devotees.
